Head Scratching New here need some assistance plz! Boom Bd250-5 "superbike"

Hey guys ! Just bought my first bike the Venom Boom 250 superbike (bd250-5)
Im at the 50 mile break in range right now and am already ready to boost this things speed up drastically. I have not been able to figure out what mods I can do to speed this thing up. Its reports say 80-90 mph but i think it maxes out around 70 :/ cant tell because the speedo is fucking whack and doesnt read near the right speed at all. What can i do to go faster??? Are any other major manufacturers parts able to be uses on this bike? Also i want some crash protections for my fairimgs but again dont know which would work. Also it dies out at stop lights and stop signs regularly. How do i adjust the idle so I stop looking like a jack ass who cant stop stalling out? Thanks for your help!

I do believe it's EFI, so it will need an O2 sensor port on the header.

Ah, you are talking about replacing the slipon, not the header. I see. I think there is an oxygen sensor on the header. EFI might not work if it isn't connected.

A sprocket change might help your speed a little bit.

Not sure where you picked up on NOS, but if it's from Thumper's signature, it stands for New Old Stock, not Nitrous Oxide System.

Your bike at least looks fast, but 70 mph is probably normal or fast for the engine size. On the idling it can be adjusted if it’s like my Hawk DLX. My bike has an adjustment screw on the throttle body. That O2 sensor is important for your EFI to run correct. My thoughts…

Well as you may have guessed it im new to riding and the setup of the forum and important acronyms for parts. Everyday is an adventure lol and yes i thought 70 would be fast enough for a while but im already wanting a bit more. But thanks for looking out on the idliling adjustment for sure

How much more mph could i expect with a sprocket change and a much better spark plug? Also does anyone know if any other bikes parts, ferrings, Motor, or crash slides would be compatible with it? Its supposed to be a ninja clone so im not sure if say a 2024 ninja 300s ferrings are interchangeable or something like that

Honestly I don’t think much. Best that will happen is your mpg may go up depending on the way you drive it. Just thinking out loud…

Here is a link that explains gear ratios. It includes a chart to give you an idea of what changes you may expect with different sprockets. I don't know your starting point on that particular motorcycle, but this article is general and will give you some insight. Some of the challenge may be finding the compatible parts.
