2020 SSR XF250 rim change
I am looking at going with a bigger front rim and tire on my xf250. I am new to the forum and have searched in previous threads for info on what fits the bike and have had no luck finding. Can someone lead me in the right direction on what will fit the bike, or direct me to a thread with this info.
Thanks n advance |

Stock it has 130/70-17 on rear and 110/70-17 on front. I am thinking a 19 on the front but i am new to dual sport bikes and am up for suggestions. I am planning on going to a little more aggressive tire like the Shinko 705 then the street tires it came with and thought i would go up on front rim while i am doing so.

The 19" is ok compromise for road/trail. 21" is better for trails... but I like it on the street too.

17 rear will be fine for dualsport use, plenty of tires available.
I would gowith a 21" front if you can, that will give you the best selection of tires. Front end of your bike looks similar to an Orion RXB250L. If so Honda wheels may fit. I have an Orion and can compare front wheel measurements if you provide them.

If you would be happy with 19" then you are in luck. The bike comes withe either a 17" or 19" front wheel option. You can call SSR and order an OEM 19" wheel.

Those numbers describe the rim size. You need measurements of axle diameter and width to get an idea if a wheel will fit your bike. You would need a set of calipers to get decent measurements.
If you can easily get a19 from the dealer, that would be the way to go. It would fit without any modifications. Axle, hub, and brake rotor size would match.

If it helps, I've got my 19" from my tbr7 that I can measure anything youd like me to. I know it's a 12mm axle, and will interchange with many of the conventional forked dual sports. Remember th dual sports have the tangs for the speedometer.

An 18" front wheel would give you more DS tire options but still limited. I have used both the Shinko 244 and 700 model tires. For an 18" wheel your front tire size will be 4.60-18.

21" front wheels used to be an option, and you can still get one apparently.

Be aware that your XF is Suzuki based so a DR200 (or other size) front tire might be a direct fit. Another option is to get a rim and have it laced to your hub. This might be the cheapest option based on the shipping charges from AliExpress.
Also, 2LZ's Qlink has a 21" front and may be a direct bolt on. You might still be able to order it.

I've bought stuff from Roketa parts.com https://www.roketapartsdept.com/ as they carry parts for allot of Chinese bikes. If find your bike parts listed there or you find another that is similar, they probably have what you need. I got my front 21" rim from them, I just had to do some research for a similar model.
