Aftermarket kpx250 aftermarket air filter

Hey guys!
Just wondering if anyone has found an aftermarket air filter for the kpx250? Every time I order one from venom it goes up in price, went from $29.99 to $39.99 and now they’re saying $49.99, for a paper air filter!! Really hate how Lifan GOUGES for parts. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Does the filter have a part number that you bought?

The closest i found is for the Moto Guzzi Part # AP8104924 . I haven't tried one to verify but the K&N filter is a close match for dimensions. https://www.knfilters.com/mg-8516-re...FqqkaAhFXEALw_
Regular paper filters will be much less if you want to test it out. https://www.ebay.com/itm/33504726209...Bk9SR5D35vzjYg

Thanks Jerry! The one on eBay looks almost perfect length and width wise but the height looks much to tall. May have to try the k&n, could always send it back if it doesn’t fit I guess.

Please let us know how it fits. That was the only filter i found that was even close to the same dimensions. I did see some others with the same part number but a little shorter but those were located in Germany and France and shipping was ridiculous. You might be able to fine one on DNA filters as well.

Hey, guys. Sorry to necro and old thread, but I wanted to gauge interest in an adapter plate to a more common (and affordable) filter size. Those of you familiar with this style of bike, what filter do you feel would be a good fit for the stock airbox?

Ditto on the resurrection, but I searched and could not find it. Does anyone have the EXACT measurements in mm for the filter? I have a buddy from my days in China (PRC) who is willing to do some checking in moto market of SH for me. Thanks!

Just a bit of an update... I've been experimenting with different intake options and I'm making good progress on several solutions ranging from a drop-in alternative, to a light DIY option, and finally a full performance setup. I'll either shoot a video or just post my findings in photos.

I posted this to the FB group already, but here it is again for the forum:

I have the solution for the air filter dilemma. After extensive research, I was able to find a REALLY close match to the KPXF09-02 filter. It's the filter for the BMW G310 GS.

The BMW filter is nearly identical in width and length, but it is a bit taller than stock. This height difference will require a bit of cutting to fit properly.

You'll need to trim the cage off from the top of the filter holder for it to fit properly. See the pics HERE.
