2021 Kayo K4 250

Hi All!

New here to the forums. I did a few searches and came up with nothing.

Does anyone have a cross reference parts guide for the 2021 Kayo k4 250?

Its tough finding aftermarket parts.

Thanks!

What is the engine code for Kayo K4? A quick look at the spec sheet on Kayo's website seems to suggest you've either got the CRF230 clone motor (which opens a lot of possibility for parts/mods) or the more unique 249cc 5spd motor. Given that they have a 230 model listed as well, I'd bet it's the latter.

The engine code would give us a bit more info about the powerplant.

Being that Kayo is still relatively new to the Chinese Bike scene in the US, it might be slim pickings around here. I found a couple of older threads, but nothing definitive for a parts lists.

The engine code seems to point to one of the 249cc air-cooled 5-spds, but Google didn't return anything on that specific code that was worthwhile.

I would say ask around in the Kayo owners group on Facebook:

After a few minutes of scrolling (it's an open group, so you can lurk without a Facebook account) I was able to find some references to KTM plastics fitting the K4, carb jetting settings, etc. I feel like that will be the best bet.

Alternatively, you could reach out to a guy named Joe Henner on Facebook/Youtube. He supports a few models of Zongshen. He might be able to point you in a direction for suspension or engine mods.
