Angry Hawk DLX throttle has a mind of its own.

Bike was surging under throttle, held revs with clutch lever pulled between shifts,
had an extremely high idle

Finally threw CEL, code p0123, TPS

Got new throttle body with sensors from PowersportsMax under warranty (bikes at only 1600 miles)

Installed new battery and throttle body

Starts strong, CEL is gone, idles from 1500-2000, but breaks up under throttle and will stall when rolling to a stop.

Que pasa? I just wanna ride guys!

You may need to give it time for the ECU to relearn the new TPS.

I hate the stock throttle. I just posted in another thread about replacing the whole throttle assembly cables and barrel adjuster with aftermarket stuff that I found to be easier for me to work with/troubleshoot here https://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=30665. My issue was broken plastic in the grip and the mechanics of the cable tension not working right though. So before buying parts I would disconnect the cable and test manually in neutral to make sure its not something electrical related to the efi.
