What is a PTC?
Hey, all... just diving into restoring a 2008 Znen scooter (first time working on a Scooter/Bike) and looking at the schematic... I see a unit labeled PTC. Can't for the life of me figure out what that stands for... anyone?

Is it for an electric choke type thing? If so it could be a PTC thermistor?
(I have no idea, I'm just practicing my google-fu, lol) https://www.electronics-notes.com/ar...oefficient.php |

Thx, Capitan!
I found a similar result when researching it, too... and I suppose it could be the choke control... it's tied to a leg of the VR output... do the GY6's have an electronic choke? |

It's a ZN150T-E ... and thx for the Scooter Dynasty link... I've actually already ordered my first round of parts from them... but the PTC isn't in their parts list. I can't even identify the part on the scooter physically... I only saw this on the schem and was curious what it is...

OK... just answered my question... the PTC is indeed the electronic choke unit. Just did a more thorough trace on the bike and found it lurking underneath a mass of wire and hoses
thx for the responses, gents... Onward!
