My Daughter's Missions Trip

My lovely daughter feels led to join a missions trip to Asia and fight human trafficking; she's definitely made of tougher stuff than I am. She has to save about $7800.00 (Canadian) by January, and she's about half way there. She held a bake sale at our little church that made her almost $900.00, and she is also working two jobs; she typically works about 15 hours per day towards this goal.

If you care to contribute, please send me a PM and I'll send you her Go Fund Me link. All contributions will be gratefully received. Her Mom and I are very grateful for your support.

Cheers!

Hey Weld!
I'd be dang proud if I were you. We used to send our daughter to Mexico annually with her church group to help build houses, etc....
PM sent.

The link does not work well for me.

When I hit 'Submit' it comes back 'Page cannot be displayed'.

If you text me an address can I mail you a check?

I'm not sure how that works on the Go Fund Me page; it might be in Canadian funds.

UPDATE: Between Emma's two jobs, her bake sale and the very generous Go Fund Me contributors, she is now only $2152.00 from her goal.

UPDATE: Emma has exceeded her goals, and she departs for the training phase of her missions trip next week. Sincere thanks to all who contributed!

Time for another update. Emma's group travelled from Vegas to Tijuana for more training, along with exposure to orphanages and rehab centres. They're back in Vegas for a few more weeks of training, and then it's off to Greece and then Nepal.

Weld....I'm a little worried here. I've been to Vegas a number of times (some memories are very foggy). I don't recall much there in the way of "mission training". Maybe how NOT to be... ;-)

Glad to hear things are going well!
