New adventure/towing/camping rig

Just picked this old girl up locally.
'97 4x4 Suburban LS, 250k miles on the body & frame.
Freshly built 355 engine, built for around 400hp. Rebuilt trans with upgraded internals (500hp kit, zpack clutches, etc). 2.5" flowmaster exhaust.
Interior is showing her age but I never thought I'd find an older suburban this straight and with a totally spotless frame!
No major mods planned yet, will probably pull the 3rd row seats out for better storage space, pick up a hitch carrier for the Templar X, and go camping a few times so I can figure out what's needed.

Took my first load to the dumps in my '95 K2500 on Monday. I'm thinking ramps to get the Hawk in the back, but I may go with a hitch carrier for ease of transport.

Got the full build specs on the SUV over the weekend:
  • Reman block, bored out to 355
  • Speed pro hypereutectic pistons
  • Scat crank
  • Pro comp roller extreme 4x4 cam (0.488 gross lift with the 1.6 ratio roller rocker arms)
  • Qualcast heads
  • LS7 beehive springs
  • Hi pressure & volume oil pump
4L60E trans
  • 500hp internals
  • B&M shift kit
  • Z-pack clutches
  • Monster Transmission stock stall extreme duty torque converter
Engine has been built for around 400hp, trans is good for 500hp. I think it'll be a good reliable runner for quite a while.
