Apollo Commander 200 Brake Caliper / Parts

I've purchased a used Apollo Commander 200, Seems to be a great unit so far.
The only problem is, The rear caliper had some issues when I bought it and needs to be replaced.
I've had TaoTaos before and never had any issues finding parts.

I've looked all over, and cannot find anything that closely matches the caliper or the brake pads. I have emailed a few Apollo dealers, and have yet to get a responce.

Measure the distance between the two mounting holes, center-to-center, and then browse HERE and check out the calipers.
Then click HERE to match up your brake pads.

Thank you, I chased those down earlier. Ordered 1 set, it was close but was not deep enough for the rotor, It would not go down far enough over the rotor to bolt the unit on.

The center of the holes is 3 inches.

Sorry, I should have been more specific, I meant the threaded mounting holes for the caliper where it bolts to the axle carrier, and then compare with the ones VMC lists.


Did you compress the puck back into the caliper fully, to give the brake pads room to fit over the rotor?

I've been through this already. I had to swap the mounting bracket from the old one to the new one.

The center mounting holes are 2.5 in. So I ordered the - Rear Disc Brake Caliper - Version 4. That has the same measurements. But - That is more like for the smaller front rotors that are 5.11 inches. The rear rotor is 8.66 inches.
I tried with the puck fully compressed in, and also tried to line up without pads installed.

The calipers old/new were too different to even swap parts / brackets / pads to make something work.

JerryHawk250, Do you know where / PN that you ordered? If all that would need to do is swap brackets that would be great.

My caliper was different than yours. I found a caliper that match what I had and swapped the brackets. This was on a Cazador 180 UTV.

Any luck finding a direct replacement for this caliper? I need one aswell

In the same boat.. and it's sinking. I'll "try" to keep this short. Apollo Commander 125cc ATV, the rear caliper has the parking/emergency brake option. The caliper froze and wore out thee pads. I replaced a small O-ring seal for the parking brake option, that stopped the fluid leak, I'm back in business for now.. I ordered new pads off Amazon, correct size and mounting BUT I had to shave off some pad material to fit over the rotor. I'm still looking for replacement pads with the correct thickness, this shouldn't be that complicated!! Thanks for any input..
