Save The Zong!
I just returned from a beautiful 4 days of riding in Idaho and Utah with Brother Spud.
Thank you Brother Spud :-) If you are interested in the flying part of my adventure I'll post a thread in the Picture Forum later when I get a chance. It was epic. I flew out after a few days of camping in the Idaho backcountry with Linda and Spud was generous and let me ride the Zong. He made the Prime Directive clear to me. "SAVE THE ZONG"! I am pleased to report that I was able to return the Zong without a scratch. It is a wonderful bike and served so very well. We did everthing from secondary roads to tight steep rocky ascents to water crossings to fire roads and the Zong missed not a beat. There asre snapshots of my phone's altimeter/compass/speedometer. I fing it funny that the snapshot where the velocity reads 'zero' was HIGHER than the one I took in the airplane where the velocity reads 135 MPH. There are some high trails in Idaho and Utah! Crossing over the Mighty Columbia River on route home. Beautiful vistas. I am not at liberty to say where, I am sworn to secrecy. No, he does not take his helmet off (LOL!) FastDoc with Spud's XR650. I enjoyed some seat time on this excellent motorcycle as well. His CRF250 flat out rocks also:-) A FastDoc is a Happy Doc. In the interest of full disclosure, lest you think that Idaho is a nice place to live and ride, recall the winters hit 20 below zero commonly. Also, there were daily lightning storms, with hail and high winds. There were also crowds in some places! I have more pics on my camera on my computer at home, there are posted at work off my iPhone.

Sorry I was not clear. I flew Linda back to Washington before the ride and after the camping.
