Can XF200 into an XP200?TaterWrecker,you around?LOL
I'm seriously considering buying Barnone's XF200.However,I'm not really a motard/supermoto guy.I have plenty of road bikes and I want an offroad bike that can make some street time as required. So my thoughts are to upgrade the XF to 21in front wheel and 18in rear.I believe spokes and rims would be all that's needed.Does the XF have enough travel in the suspension to keep the tires from making contact and locking up on big bumps? How about the XF front fender clearance for a 21in tire?I gotta go take a look at the pics again.Anyone have an suggestions or advice?

I've looked into this before and I'm pretty sure itd be as simple as swapping out the wheels. The seat height/suspension are only slightly different between the two. The problem is that the wheels aren't exactly cheap to buy, at least not from Qlink. I'm not sure what other wheels might be compatible.

Complete w/ dual sport tires. On my 200GY currently. I'm not sure if they will fit, but I'm sure somebody knows.

The XF and XP have inverted forks? It was my understanding they were not compatible?

Yes, I recieved it with no plastics. If you remove yours I would gladly take them off your hands, I'm tired of the naked look, but dont want to spend the ridiculous money they want for replacements.

I think you can buy an XP set from Q link....or at least Konker offered it until they closed, according to Kawazacky's article, if I remember correctly. I'm sure it's not cheap but it really would be nice to have the option at hand of making it convertable.

For street use I would stick with the 17's the tires and tire selections are far superior to contact patch on the china moto 21/18's. On my former china bike the morning work commute was far more exciting when the dual sport tires would plane on any wet or semi wet surface, this caused me on two seperate occassions to run a red light because the bike would not stop. Do what 2LZ did and get some 70 or 80 percent street tires if you go the dual sport route
