Is my tranny shot ?

Hello,
When I was changing my counter shaft sprocket, ( went from a 15 to 16 and have a 48 rear) I noticed I could rotate the shaft about a tooths worth or about 20-25 degrees. This seems like alot of slop in the gears. It didn't matter which gear it was in 1st thru 5th.
I bought the bike used and it has 3600 miles on it. There is some gear type noise, not when coasting but when accelerating. I have a new chain and replaced the swingarm bolt. Could the transmission be worn out ?
Thanks

I am not sure about the amount, but being able to turn it some is normal.

That doesn't sound too bad.

Nah, probably not. With those miles, I'm sure they all have some slop. Keep the oil changed regularly and it should be fine.
