My Tachometer stopped, anyone have this problem before?
My tach stopped and I would like to fix it. Has anyone fix this problem before?

Most likely the tach cable.
Speedo and tach cable failures are common. Allen

The newer ones don't have tach cables, they're electronic.

I have an electric one, does anyone have the schematic?
I think its a loose wire or a short because it came back for a few minutes today. Nick |

Try taking it apart and look at the solderings. The vibrations could easily cause faulty soldering.
Oh, before you do: Take a look at plugs from the gauge. Maybe it's just a poor connection. |

I took it apart and I found 3 caps bouncing around and one resistor and a PC with 70's technology designed by a kid. Wow they (CDM) cant get anything correct!
