250cc Jonway Falcon Motorscooter
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. Does anyone know a mechanic in the Atlanta Ga area?
I bought a brand new 2019 250cc Falcon at the beginning of march. I only have 161 miles on it. I was riding home from church one night and it cut off on me. I got it to crank again but it would cut off whenever i applied the throttle. It's been over a month now and my bike still isn't running. So far I've: Drained the tank and gave it new gas Adjusted my idle screw Found and fixed a leak that was under the fuel tank Tightened my carburetor (it was dumb loose) Checked/added oil Charged my battery Got a new spark plug (it shot out when i was riding on an earlier occasion.) The dealership gave me a new carburetor (idk why if it's a new bike with new parts) so I'm trying that today. It only had a 30 day warranty on the engine, the shop is closed to the public, and the owner isn't any help. He's unreliable when it comes to communication. Ps. DON'T BUY FROM COUGAR CYCLE! Thanks guys. -AJ |

The 250 Honda Helix clone engines actually have a fairly good reputation. Troubleshoot fuel flow to carb by routing line to a container and energizing starter. Unknown if this model has a gravity flow petcock, or a vacuum operated pulse-pump? Sometimes the gremlin is just overfilling the gas tank wetting the vent element . . insufficient vent air = restricted outflow. |

Welcome to here! Have you adjusted the valves? Some bikes come out of the box way too tight.
