Hi-Bird QH200GY

I believe Tom from RPM is a dealer in these. If anyone could tell me what, if any would be the difference from other push rod versions of these bikes I would appreciate it. I notice no inverted forks and rear drum. Anything that could be a considered a major deterrent over purchasing a Viva, Lifan, etc? Does anybody have one?

Thanks,
Jason

Jason,

You in the market for another bike?? The Hi Bird is basically the Roketa DB07. From what I can tell. It's identical to what we have just conventional forks, drum rear, pushrod motor, as you have mentioned.

Jason,
That's just it, as you have mentioned. They also have the small foot pegs up front and the plastic used for the fenders, tank cover and side covers is on the hard side, will not flex as much as those used on the Lifan bikes I sell. Seat is thicker and wider than the Lifan and tends to sit about 1.5" lower.

Of course, you won't get the warranty like the American Lifan has. Hi-Birds have 3 months parts, American Lifans have 6 months parts & labor.

Thanks Tom. Interesting about the seat height. That's actually very good considering I'm thinking this may be the right bike for my girlfriend. So, am I to assume that the seat height is about 32" then? Then with rider it may sag to 30" or so? How big are these pegs? Would that be something that I would need to change out? Also, what is the rear sprocket/gearing on these? Most of the riding she'd be doing would be street.

Thanks,
Jason

Jason,

Is this the bike your looking at?:

http://www.digikool.net/product_info...e87db60a401f95

You might get a better deal if you call them directly... and mention it said you could save by calling directly..

I just got a HiBird atv from them and I am quite pleased... Even got a legitimate mso. and bill of sale.. at no extra charge.

NET

p.s. they have a HiBird roadster and sport model for mostly road riding too..

Yep, Jason, you pretty much have it there.
The rear is 54 and 17 on front. A bit geared for trails more than street, so you may want to look at changing the rear to a 46.
The pegs are adequate, but compared to the large Lifan pegs, they look small.
