That's the first used example I've seen. Nice looking bike.

Thanks for the link, Doc. I have seen quite a few, used, CRF250L bikes for sale, but this is the first CBR250R I have seen. That bike must be a dealer demonstration bike. Who rides a bike for 179 miles, then decides to sell it?

Here's a good deal on a used CBR250R in Montana.

My lovely daughter wants a CBR125 in a bad way, but she can't justify the ~$2000 price tag. Instead, we might embark on a 110 café project. I have enough junk laying around to build one.

The CBR125R is a nice bike. I think Jim owned one for a while. The CBR125R forum is quite nice, and seems to be very informative.

I like the CBR125 also. I think for a smaller lighter person without a need to travel much on the highway it would be an awesome bike.

Does Canada have tiered licensing and insurance? It it cheaper to own a 125?

That CBR250 you found in MT is a great deal, Spud.

I've seen a couple around here, and I like them but find the dirt bike sound from a sport styled bike too incongruous.

Now there is a CBR300 thumper to compete better with the Ninja 300, the battle rages on!

Thanks for letting me know about the 2014 CBR300R, Doc! Honda has thrown down the gauntlet, and continues to match the competition.

The answer is that it is based on Provincial rules, just like it varies from State to State. The cost of insurance in BC for a 125 is the same as a 400, and the price increases dramatically after that. The cost for a 110 is the same as a 50cc scooter. Cheap.

Interesting about the rules up there.

That CB looks potentially like a good deal.

Take the Crow's Nest Highway east?

It would fit in the Weldmobile.

You may recall I briefly owned and flipped a XL125 a few years ago. I bet it's the same motor.

The 125 has a decent amount of spunk. It would be OK for <60 MPH around town, especially for a smaller girl.

Interesting the ad says it was a father and daughter project originally.
