New to the forum first china atv
hello fellow china atv riders, i went ahead and took the jump to a china atv, this will be my first atv so i was looking for a good looking atv with a good price, i went with the aim-ex/taotao 250e in black and red, which is honda clone. main use will be around the ole ladys house 30 plus acres with horses and mainly 1/4mile race track use riding in the pits. anyone else have this model atv, it does have the loncin engine. will arrive at the house tommorrow and the price wasn't bad at $1090 shipped to the door. any suggestions on which plug to use. i have read about using locktite on all the bolts and changing the china oil out but not sure what to replace it with. i plan on using locktite on everybolt including the plastics, will be fun messing with a atv since its different than a race car. i already purchased a set of the 5inch wheel spacers for the front and back. any other ideas. thanks birdonnos

oil ? some use rotello 15-40 it works best for clutch lubrisity (?), but any way or just use a good 4 stroke atv oil , i use 10-40 4 stroke atv by valvoline no complaints,
dont or i recomend you dont use lock-tite on all of the bolts/nuts, as in some may just need a lock nut or a lock washer, star washers are a-ok, the reason is like your brake caliper, if you use lock-tite there chances are you will snap the head off the bolt if or when you go to change the brake pads, experience on that one . be sure there are grease fittings on the a-arms and ball joints or you will be replacing them ina short while, probly not a bad bike sounds like you will have lots of fun DD
