150 gy6 crank seal
Anyone number t he part number for this seal.... or what model did HONDA call this?? as the parts people say... 150 gy6???? did not know honda made a GY6 motor... they are no help... newer parts people just know fuel injection models... and if it only a few years old... tried to match up at local bearing and seal places... see one on EBAY.. but 4 weeks away.. so if some one could give me info on this ... thanks

Honda didn't make the gy6. It's an amalgamation of different designs, if I remember correctly. What was the issue of matching it at a bearing supply place? Just measure with calipers and order.

ok.. thanks ... it is for a customer... he would like to get one NOW..... thats why I thought if some one knew the HONDA PART NUMBER... he could get it faster.... I told him to go to bearing shop.... so he phoned.... no they do not really help people on th e phione as much as if you go there... to cross it over... ok... thanks

Well, if you get measurements, they'll be able to find you something. The only one that might be difficult is the 2 19.8x30x5 seals (but they can still be found on Amazon). The other two are relatively common.

Nitrile (NBR) is the most common type is this application. Fluorocarbon (FKM) aka those "brown thingy" also available IF u tried HARD to find it at the right place... https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/biker/M.1460098893.A.AEB.html Intresting ?!!! SYM's infamous "brown" to "black" & endless failure ...
