TaoTao 07 watercooled Resurrection
9/14/19
Going to make this a build/resurrection thread Hello, Pick this pretty cheap, turn over but won’t idle. First on the menu a carb dissemble and cleaning. The ignition was bypass by PO but everything seems to be there. My main concern is making sure the wiring for the radiator fan is all connected and working. Thanks, Nick Last edited by Vwchisme; 09-15-2019 at 01:48 AM. Reason: Resurrection Thread |

I've had two similar quads where the intake tube made a poor seal at the head. One was because the o-ring was squashed between the flange and the head and the other was because the o-ring groove was cut too deep. It's worth checking.

Anyone have a electrical digram for it? Need to track down a no spark. It cranks but no spark at the plug, it fired up when I picked it. So my guess is a loose wire or bad ground. I’m familiar with how to check stator (ohm) and other electrical on a 110cc, will this be similar?

Does it have a kill switch on the left handlebar that resembles a turn signal switch?

Depends on the wiring from the ATV. Can you take a picture of the wires that plug into there?

I don't have a link, but there are a couple of relevant threads on here about the wiring pinouts for them, try disconnecting the wire that gets grounded by the kill switch, if it is indicating that it is grounded (just test it with a voltmeter).
