GY in the woods
I spotted a GY5 in the woods just north of Macon this morning. If you look closely you can see the cold coke pulled from the cooler in the trunk.
A closer inspection shows a recent mod to remove that big tag plate. This tag is mounted directly to the rear fender. No trails here....just woods! Side shot of the ATV tank bag... My ride today was my longest on the GY thus far. I went 221km (137 miles) and my butt was begging for a gel-seat...lol I topped off my tank before leaving the house, and I stopped on the way home to refill a measured amount so I could check my consumption rate. After I got home and ran the numbers, I was shocked to see the calculator spit out a super sweet 88 mpg! Keeping in mind, my bike has no mods and I don't push the bike to much over 50...I am still quite pleased. A few pics from last week before I added my "touring kit'... My plastics were coated w/ 3M rubberized undercoating...

Thanks guys.
I was hoping to ride some old logging roads, but I didn't have the keys. Maybe next time.
