sprocket change to 125 apollo for adult use?

hi all,

Just found a practically new apollo 125 for DIRT CHEAP. I was wondering if...

A. there's a taller rear sprocket for it out there
B. if so, would that gear it down enough for an adult to ride, including up moderate hills?

Essentially I just need it for my better half to putter around the farm, so speed is not a factor. 15 or 20 mph is probably plenty given the terrain she'll be on.

thanks in advance....

The rule of thumb for final gearing is that going down 1 tooth on the front sprocket is equal to going up 2 to 2.5 teeth on the rear sprocket, and vice versa.

A whole lot less work to swap out the front sprocket than the rear one IMO

Yeah put a 10 tooth on the front and you should be good.
