Why do you think it needs a piston or rings?

Depending on what you need, John at GIO can get you a lot of parts too... And if it's a wear item like brake pads or something he often puts them on auction and you can buy them for a song. Shipping gets pricey on single items though, so try to combine purchases when you can.

Glad to hear your kids are loving the 110, awesome little machines! I bought one for my son and it's more fun to ride than my Beast! (albeit a bit small for me!) Any questions that you have on the atv feel free to ask, there are a few people on these boards that know them inside out

Cheers,
Stew

I think the "TX" was thanks, not texas, as i don't think you could get a GIO atv to texas, they only ship in within canada.

I believe parts are not a problem ( i'd e-mail them to confirm ), i think it's based on the quads and bikes not being EPA approved as to why they can't ship it into the USA.

A fellow Canadian hockey fan with a 110cc Gio.

Welcome.

Change the oil regularly and you shouldn't need a piston or rings for quite some time, unless there is some form of tragedy which can be avoided by properly showing your kids how to look after and maintain a gas powered toy. You should be just fine!
