Dark brake hyd fluid T1 rebel

Hi everyone love this forum. A quick question my son just got this T1 a few weeks ago and rode it for about 10 mins. I just noticed the other day that the rear brake fluid is dark while the front resivor shows clear. Can anyone fill me in as I cannot find any leaks for air to get in.

Is it brake fluid or did someone in the factory put in oil instead? I would flush it out to be sure and replace with fresh fluid.

ya drain the rear brakes, and put dot3 brake fluid in it.. then bleed the brakes. also if you have not done so already do an oil change on it. a lot of these off brand atvs use like fish oil or extremely low grade oil in the motors. ive been using castrol 4stroke wet clutch oil in my motor
