Cool Suzuki Mini Truck!

Took the Konker up for mail tonight, driving by the Napa (ex GM dealership) I spotted this little mini truck... Sweet looking little rig, I had to snap a few pics!

The camo looks awesome, I think it's that vinyl sheeting that you can buy. I saw a Chev Tracker with the same stuff and it looked really good!

That looks similar to the one I drove on the ranch in the Blue Mountains last winter. Loads of fun!

What surprised me was how small the wheels and tires are... They appear to be not much larger than the tires on my ATV. I'm assuming it's street legal, makes me wonder how long those little tires would last on pavement?

My mistake on the street legal part, the tires aren't DOT. I was told with the addition of regular 14 inch tires it is registerable and insurable though... Little pricey, I guess the outfit that was importing them and selling them was charging $15K 8O About the same price as a brand new side by side here.

The one I drove was also on ATV type tires.

I am hoping to find one here in Kansas. I can drive it on the county and city roads. No insurance or tag needed. Just have to register it. I would stick to the original wheels and tires that are street friendly Those atv tires won't last long if used on the road.

How much do they go for in those parts Kato? 15K here sounds a little pricey to me... Can pick up a really good truck for less than that!

The range for a running and ready truck is $4-10K it seems. Depends on what features and add ons it has. Year and mileage.

I would be looking at the $4k ones. Don't need fancy wheels, lift, bumpers, camo etc. A dump bed would be nice though.

Even drop sides would be nice. I wonder if you can import one yourself, find a left hand drive and save some cash.

Thought about selling these on the side too. Seen a few on the road around here now.

Neat little rigs. I'm sure they could be imported cheaper than what they are charging for them here... When I was dealing on the fully loaded Delica van I think I could get it to the door for about $8K and I'm sure the importer was making money at that!

I think this is the guy that's importing them here, about a half hour from my place. As Kato was saying, the plain jane ones are much more reasonable!

I can add my own accessories. Dump bed would be the most useful. The amount of off-road I would do would only require street tires.
