You may just want to replace the throttle and cable and upgrade to some better grips as they are all pretty cheap...Just an opinion...

as someone said before, some custom shops are equipped to make custom linkage. call around some hot rod shops, or bike shops and see if they can make a cable for you.. if not, then you will have to go thru the rigourous process of matching it up, or just getting a new throttle (which may be your best bet!)

how much is that setting you back? just out of curiousity, seeing as at least 3 people's cables broke in the last few weeks or so...

Do you mean money or time? I'll answer both. I think around $23 dollars plus shipping to get the cable, and probably a week or so until I get it.

I was able to fit an XR400 clutch cable to my 163FML2 powered XR200. I am also using Honda OE lever and perch. I did change the lower cable stop to Honda as well, only because the Lifan part flexed too much.

Dudes, your local bike shop or powersports shop will have the replacement cables, I brought my bike in and they matched the orininals and didnt have to remove them from the bike. I paid $24 for both cables. $23 for 1 cable plus shipping is a bit steep, shop around and get out of the fog of going back with OEM parts, replacement parts are readly available you just have to get out there and shop around. Remember to always buy 2 of each item that way you always have a spare, and LUBE THOSE CABLES!!!!!
