Question Apollo orion 36-rx 250cc

Hey guys.
I'm new to the forum, so hello to everyone here.

Does anyone know anything about the given bike?
It's like 2-3 weeks old by now, it has some eletrical problems but that's not the case.

I would like to get rid of the limiters, so far we have an idea it has 3 limiters.
1 in exhaust, 1 in air-intake, 1 in carburetor. Possible the rev limiter is in the CDI (the brain I guess).

Any tips about the bike or anything? Since the bike is really dead to me, as in it doesn't really go into revs, impossible to wheelie with it and so on. It's a nice bike and I believe it'll ride just fine, only needs some changes.

With best regards,
Me

Welcome!

For starters, please show us a pic of the bike. It's tough to get a sense of it from your avatar.

That's a really cool bike. It looks like it might be an OHC water-cooled engine.

Can you show us the CDI?

I know little to nothing about the bikes, so where could I fine the CDI?
It still has a guarantee, so should I open the bike up and remove the CDI? 'Cause I'm forced to drop it to a guarantee service anyways in 1-2 weeks, maybe i'll wait and do it after that. Since the electronical failures, some very random engine kills, battery is done for, only starts with a kick-starter, which is fine by me tho.

I know it is water cooled; what I meant is that it looks like a water-cooled OHC engine. Most of the water cooled China bikes I've seen have been pushrod motors (at least the Honda clones).

When you say it has a guarantee, do you mean there is warranty coverage on this bike?

Found some papers
Engine Manufacturer: Zhejiang Apollo Motorcycle Manufacturer Co.,Ltd
Engine type as marked on the engine : APL170MM
Cylinder Cap. : 249cc
Which is worrying me is, that it's 250cc and has 13kw/7.5k rpm, is it normal?

Yes, that translates to about 17hp. Sounds about right.

You might free up another hp or two with some air filter and muffler upgrades.

I did that. I'm trying to post the pics in this thread, but they're huge.
