2023 Hawk DLX upgrade question
I just purchased a 2023 Hawk DLX EFI and I’m loving it so far. I was wondering if anyone had done any engine mods such as ported and polished head to their DLX. And if so did you have to send your ECU out to be tuned or did your bike adjust.
I’m contemplating a few different mods such as the motocult stage 1, or their ported efi head, or their stage 2. Any thoughts or suggestions. Which one would have the better gains in performance. I’m a heavy guy, 240. I’m just looking for a performance upgrade that will allow a few extra miles per hour on the road. Enough to comfortably travel on 60 mph road. As is I can do 68 but that’s pushing the motor more than I want it to. I have already changed sprockets 17/45 and new gold niche chain. I can’t find an upgraded exhaust that will accommodate the o2 sensor. I really appreciate y’all’s input. |

Welcome aboard! You could always get an O2 bung welded on. I'm sure your local muffler guy could do that for you.

I haven’t thought of that, any suggestions on an exhaust and do you think I’d need to have my ECU tuned for an upgraded exhaust
