Question Needed: CG250 4 Stroke Motor mounts

Hi all,

I need help. I bought a CG250 clone from Alibaba. I am mounting it on a CB250 Nighthawk Frame. The stock mounts are close but not quite right. Does anyone know where I can scare you the front and rear motor mounts? The only ones that work are the too 2 mount plates. I sure would appreciate some direction, even if it is modification advice.

Post up, or link us to some pictures so we can see what you're dealing with. I've never heard of somebody doing the swap, though I've heard it's possible.

You will more than likely be better off fabricating mounts form steel plate. Even if you found mounts they probably won't be exactly what you need.

Also, the rear mounts are in the frame. Post up a picture of the motor, so we know what you're dealing with, the left and right sides.
