New (to me) bike!

Picked up this 2012 FZ6 yesterday! Newest non-china bike i've ever owned in my 15 years of riding. I don't even know how to feel about finally have a fuel injected bike. It needs new fairings, I have the old ones but they are faded and kinda rough. Or finish making it into a naked. The only thing that looks bad, imo, is how far the dash and headlight stick out. So, not sure which way i'll go with that. It needs a new rear tire as well, but it runs great and has plenty of fun power. I look forward to some long rides on it!

The FZ6 is a gem of a bike that always seems to come up for sale at good prices, even in the current bike market.

Personally, I say street fighter it. The headlight and gauges stick out so far because they are meant for fairings. This article on a persons street fighter FZ6 conversion has some great information in it that might be of use to you.

Yeah I knew they were sticking out for that reason and I have a set of fairings that go to it. I mocked them up and I just don't think I dig the look. That and fairings make everything so hard to work on. I'll probably just fighter it, like you said.

The other thing I've got to change is the exhaust. It has a two brothers black edition shorty can and it's so loud it's annoying. It sounds good, don't get me wrong, I feel like i'm riding in the Isle of Man TT on the country roads, but I'm going to get a ticket, drive my neighbors insane, and maybe myself. lol

I'll give that a look! I'll take all the help I can get. Thanks!
