Greetings from SW FL

Hey guys! I've been lurking for a while and am going to be purchasing a 125cc grom clone here shortly. I'm super indecisive so it's delaying me more than I want to. Any advice of course is welcome. Right now I'm leaning towards the TaoTao Hellcat just because it's so inexpensive, I can then drop a bunch of additions into it quickly!

Well....

I decided to put a Tao Tao Hellcat on layaway. It’s a tough decision though! The Vader, gen 1 or gen 2, is a great choice too! I bought mine from FamilyGoKarts.com. I couldn’t beat the price anywhere. The difference in cost buys a lot of aftermarket parts.

There are a few people on here that have Hellcats and a bunch that have Vaders. Correct me if I’m wrong, the Hellcat has only been out for a little over a year and the Vader has been out for 3 or 4 years. Tao Tao was a little late getting in the Grom game, which might explain the lower price.

If you have more money, the options open up. Ice Bear has a nice bike and so does SSR with the Razkull. Let us know what you finally decide to get.

Enjoy the Ride!

Thanks! Superior Powersports has it for under a grand right now on sale. I think if I was going to go into the 2k range I’d get the Lifan KPmini. Heard great things about them. I’m desperate to get on a bike right now.

I looked at Superior Powersports before I purchased my Hellcat. Their price doesn’t include shipping charges! After adding up the price of the bike and shipping it comes out just under $1,200. I hate it when they do stuff like that.

I looked at the Lifan KP Mini 150. That’s a nice bike! If you get a chance, check out Ceasar with Small Engine Velocity on YouTube. He has a KP Mini and has a few videos on it!

Keep us posted!
