Hi from H-Town
Hi everyone, I'm very new to motorcycle ownership. I've purchased a Apollo 140 RFZ and I'm looking to make an additional purchase soon (a Chinese 400cc Cruiser). I like to tinker and I'm looking for advise.
Does anyone have a recommendation on what type of carburetor works best on my Apollo 140cc to get the max performance out of it? |

Welcome aboard! Just tune the stock carb and it will be good. Even if you bought a new carb you will still have to tune it. Performance between the stock carb and a new carb will be no different when tune correctly.

Go ahead and order a jet kit, and maybe an adjustable needle for it. You may also want to look into opening up the airbox and cleaning out some of the exhaust restrictions. Once you're ready to dive in, you can review this video. This guy is pretty long winded, but he has a great explanation of how to do the fine-tuning on the carb.

Welcome to here! For all it is worth, contact Pete at Kronik Racing. He specializes in the Vaders (Grom clones) and pit bikes, and seems to prefer the Apollo bikes. He has both performance and stock parts for all kinds of pitbikes.

Welcome. I agree you should rejet the stock carb, rather than purchasing a rubic's cube, errrr performance carb.
