I got 2 hawks registered in NC back in July. Just make sure all you paper work you get from CSC is in order. Contact CSC and talk with them about it even though the CSC website states it's 50 state legal. That will be you best bet.

Alright, thanks man. The only paperwork you needed from the dealer was the notarized title, bill of sale and the damage disclosure statement? Then you get insurance and you fill out the odometer reading and title form? Its my first time buying a new vehicle here so im not too familiar with the process. Thanks a ton in advance man

Sounds like you just need to take what you have along with proof of insurance to the license plate office and you should be good. What part of NC are you located. I'm about 45 miles west of Winston Salem. Get it tagged and we'll have to do some riding sometime.

I'm not sure if the CSC bikes come with an MCO or title, but either way, just be sure they notarize it. the license bureau will kick it right back to you otherwise. they should give you a bill of sale too. You should probably get it inspected and get a paper from the inspection station. then get your insurance company on board. with all that, you should be armed for anything the license bureau throws at you!
good luck with it. CSC bikes are good ones! |

So a MCO and a title can be used interchangeably in this case?

I have a hawk myself, and it came with an MCO. I'm not sure what CSC does with theirs. but yes, they are essentially the same thing. the MCO can be signed and notarized just like a title.
