Instrument cluster rattles on bumps
My TBR7 makes a plastic-on-plastic clatter when I hit bumps. It's coming from the headlight/instrument cluster, but I can't figure out which parts are bumping. I already tried wrapping up the wires tighter, and squirted silicone rubber between the headlight and the bezel. Has anyone solved this problem?

Well, it wasn't the gas tank, and I don't think it was any single thing. The headlight/instrument cluster contains a half-dozen spots where nearby parts can bounce against each other. I squirted silicone rubber into all the close gaps I could find, and the clatter disappeared. Victory.
