Performance mods for csc sg250
Hi everyone
I bought a CSC SG250 as my first bike two weeks ago and I already have 180miles on it. I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on how to increase the performance of the bike. I was wondering if anyone could recommend air filters or ways of increasing airflow that would work on the 250 and if anyone knows of a better-than-stock exhaust system that would fit the bike and will increase performance? I would also appreciate any other suggestions that anyone has to increase performance. Thanks for the help in advance! |

Suggest you visit MotoCult website. He specializes in performance parts/kits for the CG250 motor. I have his Stage 3 performance kit and flowed head. Also installed a Nibbi PE28 carb. Result is amazing! But he has various stage kits depending on how far you wish to go.

I would check the CSC website itself. I am sure there are compatible exhausts you could find on Ebay or Amazon, as well as sprocket(s) upgrade. Generally, the engine is the same as the TT250 which is very similar to most of the dual-sport engines.
More recently, there are people getting into the engines themselves (e.g. head work) and the engines that CSC uses are of the highest quality Chinese bikes, so if you want to go that route, there are things you can do.
