Minkuni VM26 fuel/air convenient extension

This little carburetor upgrade makes life much easier for fuel/air adjustments.

You don't have to unmount the carburetor to adjust, or need buy any fancy 90 degree tool.

Lots of us have tried one of those. The majority of us didn't have very good luck, but hopefully you found a good one.

So far so good.

I had a similar experience on an earlier one I purchased off amazon. I am glad to know I was not alone in that frustration.

I swapped it out after I put in a 30 pilot and tested with the stock fuel/air screw.

One incremental change at a time.

I was getting tired of how difficult it was to start the dang thing prior.

I ordered the VM 26, and a jet kit. Didn't realize I didn't get pilot jets with them..So when I assembled my hawk, I just put the stick mikuni on, only adjustment I did was raising the idle just a hair. I guess I got lucky because the bike runs great. Starts first or second time, no choke. Purrs like a kitten. Surprised at how good it runs.
