I’ve been riding dirt bikes most of my life, really happy I decided to be the black sheep and ride a China bike. I got it in with my Amazon credit card and it was only $2k delivered. Mods are basic and cheap like me, and I hope you all have auspicious blessings with your bikes and embrace the Buddhist simplicity of my journey with my Chinese bike. I’ve got a 16T front, up from 13 stock. I’ve got a windscreen from Amazon, I used heat shrink tubing and truck bed liner to tighten up the wiring on the taillight, and I sprayed silver metallic on the front fender for better light projection. Eventually I’ll upgrade to a more efficient carb or rejet. I’ve got a 40T rear but I’m hitting 55mph in 4th with the 16T front and I need more power before I install the rear. Any suggestions for a 10% upgrade in power?

Welcome to the group. I own an SG250 (239cc / Zongshen). No suggestions for an upgrade for that particular bike.

Hello just try rejetting stock carb,and get a good spark plug. Made a big difference on my TBR7.

You have obviously gotten past OH motor vehicle and customized your Temp M. Nice work. You can optimize the carb if you think it is really necessary. These changes are posted. But sounds like you are already comfortable with the bike. I love the blue trim.

Hey, nice looking bike! I've installed the same windshield on my Honda CM clone. Never though classic windshield would look so good on a dual sport!

Now that you are in a deep freezer, the M will remain parked for a couple of months

So you can do the carb work.

I have the same engine- ZS172FFM-3A
I recommend increasing from #40 to #42 pilot and #120 to #125 main jet.

I had a #45 pilot in there, but too rich. You can shim the needle about 1mm.

Still riding. Battery took a dump. Leaking acid. I guess they cut corners there to give a better overall product. Looked up the battery on Ali and it was $6 Lol going to upgrade it.
