A Scooter for Free ;)

Hey, All (or anyone who might read this intro

I'm here because I was fortunate enough (?) to have acquired a 2008 Znen Scooter (ZN150T-E as it turns out) for free. That being said... the previous owner was "glad to have found it a good home" before moving to the UK... so, being the curious DYIer that I am, I gladly accepted the offer and started diving into the bike. It's one of those "Classic" looking scooters... Pearl White with Chrome accents (I'll get a pic posted in the near future). However, I found many issues right out of the gate... but it started right up after a quick battery charge and it actually purred like a kitten! So I'm fairly confident the motor (clearly a GY6) is in pretty good shape... at least so far

I'm kinda stoked cuz I've not owned a "motor scooter" before and I am eager to get to know it (and the world that revolves around it) intimately

I'm not new to fixing things with moving parts... I've rebuilt trucks, cars, forklifts, generators, etc... so getting my "new" scooter up to snuff isn't scary... but I DO have questions! ... hence... I'm here

I guess I'll be posting mostly in the Pit/Pocket and Scooters arm of the forum... but a quick perusal of this site reveals that there is much to be learned from all corners

Welcome. I'm a scooter rider too.
-There are plenty of parts out there for GY6 powered scoots.
