Hawk 250 DLX mpg

Hi guys. I wanted to try a new thread on the Hawk efi (aka DLX) mpg. I figured its relevant because carbs are just a different animal, who knows how you've jetted and adjusted yours, and theres definitely a positive and informative plug for the Hawk efi here IMO.

Below are my numbers after 700 miles. Mods are 17/45 sprockets. My average commute speed limit/zone is 45mph (I'd venture a guess thats this bikes sweet spot). I have about 24 stop and go points related to each number below. Miscellaneous info after ***

From brand new 'break in' period to now: 68mpg / 74 / 75 / 79.5 / 83.3 / 78

*** The only mod I've done that might possibly control for my mpg #s is a new and good iridium spark plug. I'll be adding a windshield and will update the effect if any. The mpg drop to 78 probably reflects my increased confidence in the bike and many test at top speed and other 5th gear experiments as I begin moving past the break in process.
