Thumbs Up repower? ZS172FMM-3A

I have less than 1000 miles on my Templar X, and it is running just great. Fresh oil, valves adjusted, it perks up instantly, runs smooth and responds quick. I am still amazed at what an incredible low priced high quality motorcycle it is.

But what if something were to happen to the engine? Would I rebuild it? If it was just the cylinder and head, maybe. Or maybe NOT!!

Why not just repower it. I think I saw this engine for sale for $489, free shipping. Can't find it now. Vendor in Carrollton, TX (where so many of these bikes are warehoused and sold from).

Found one listing, a South El Monte, California vendor: "250cc Vertical Engine Motor w/ Manual Transmission Kick Electric Start Dirt Bike". It is the ZS172FMM-3A for $489 plus $59 shipping.

And another from Carrollton, TX, same price (it is XProUSA, same vendor!):
"4 Stroke 250cc Engine Motor w/ Manual Transmission Electric Kick Start Dirt Bike"
