my lil brothers bike

my lil brothers bike is a 72cc sunl bike it ran fine untill last week he got it christmas day and the other day we got them pretty muddy so we washed them we started to drive them around to the front of the house and it took off like it wasent in first so he told me i made sure it was in first and it still did it so i thought water just got in the air filter so i took it out and it was damp so i cleaned it and dryed it and put it back in so the next day we took em back out and it wont jump into "N" or "1" so im there tring of maybe 1min or2 and it finally goes in but still takes off like its in the wrong gear.

Hey dre

Starting & stopping sentences makes it a lot easier to read what you are saying.

Anyway it sounds like the bike is jammed in gear, it may have a bent shift fork in the transmission. It would be had to say without seeing the bike and seeing what exactly it is doing. If it does have a bent shift fork in the engine, it will have to come completely apart to be repaired.
