Baja No Pinch Tire Tool
Finally got to try my to me birthday present today. That’s it in the center of the hub. Didn’t quite have enough of the bead over the rim yet for it to be useful.
Got a couple more inches seated and magic, or physics, happened while pushing on the lever. Pros:Simple to use. No more pinching or cutting a tube on the last PITA couple of inches of getting a tire mounted. Cons:Pricey. $105US plus shipping for the basic set that only comes with the 20mm adapter. (All I needed) Complete set is around $170. Need to do a lot of tires to justify. Doesn’t pinch tubes but pinches pinkies if you ain’t careful. Heck of a time saver.

I almost bought one. Figured for the price I can mod up the harbor freight tire changer and get more out of it for doing all kinds of tires.
But those would be perfect for taking with you for trail side repairs. If the price ever comes down I want to get one.

I bought one, tried to put on a stubborn tire with it, and promptly returned it. It's far, FAR more awkward than tire irons, it gouged my rim, and it just didn't do a good job of putting on a tire.
