TT250 High Pitch Wine Noise
My TT250 makes a high pitch wine noise only when I'm moving though. When I come to a stop it goes away. Any ideas?

Brake pads maybe?
I took my wheels/tires off for a tire change, which requires removing the calipers (not the hydraulics...just the part). For the first few miles after this I had a brake squeak/whine on the front. You could tell it was the caliper though because it did it once for every rotation. So, not a constant. Pads reset themselves and it stopped. If the pads were worn way down or have some crap on them from off-roading this might be a constant sound I suppose.

Our TT250 stock dual-sport tires noticeably whined/hummed on pavement.

I'll have to check when I can. I have to take the bike back to my state for registration. Quote:

Sorry I should have mentioned it has only 2 miles on it.. It is brand new. I'll be leaving soon to my home state with the bike on a carrier soon. Then I'll be able to test it more as I have to register it still. |
