New to this, Help a brotha out

My name is Justin. i live in indiana, it sucks. So i picked up an 07 BBB 107cc the other day for $300. So far everyone has trash talked this bike because they say BBB sucks. What do you guys think?

I don't know what a BBR is either, but does it matter if others trash talk it, if you have fun with it? How do you like it so far?

There are so many manufacturers in China, and so many different importers dealing with the various manufacturers sometimes it is hard to keep track of them all.

For $300 how bad can it be? You can't buy a good bicycle for that.

Welcome Justin!

That's a sweet looking little pit bike. It looks like the skidplate is bent a bit; a new one is a good idea (and it's cheap - I've seen them for less than $10 on eBay).

It looks like you have the taller bars, and you have decent disc brakes on both wheels. I think you also have the 12" rear and 14" front wheel combo (I have some experience with this bike). Check the pit bike section of this forum for tips and upgrades.

As far as brand names go, I had the same issue with my son's former 125 pit bike. The solution was to get rid of any decals that are on there now, and find some cool decals that you like to replace them. You can get some cool stuff online, or you can ask for freebies at the local bike shops (like we did).

That engine is based on the classic Honda horizontal engine, and it will be a dependable performer, as long as you change the oil after no more than 10 hours of use. Use four-stroke motorcycle oil only; Castrol 15W40 from Wal-Mart is a good choice.

I picked up and sold a BBB to another member here. It was definately one of the better quality china pit bikes.

Don't let anyone give you too much crap. You have a bike that can handle some upgrades.

I been having a great time riding my little baja 90. More so than the lifan.

thanks a lot guys! Ok, since this motor is a chinese engine, when I go to buy parts, what type of engine would it be like, since i cant go buy BBB engine parts, you know what i mean?

You shouldn't have any problem finding engine parts. Pretty much a honda horizontal clone.

On some of these clones the Honda plastics will even fit. I have always been taught and still believe that anyone who trashes another mans wheels is pathetic. They don't own it or ride so who the he!! are they to say anything about it? If You like it that's all that matters.

Justin, if that 107cc ever gives you trouble, a 125 with a four speed manual clutch is a bolt-in.

Not a honda, but an almost direct copy. 99% of parts interchange.
