2005 Vento V-Thunder 250 help?
Hey everyone first time here and first time poster.
I recently picked up what I thought was a hell of a deal, now I'm not so sure. I dropped a C-note on a 2005 Vento V-Thunder 250. It had a clean title and it looked like everything was there, which in reality it is. Problem is that the prior owners had dissembled the fuel lines from the tank in order to paint it, and it was never put back properly. It has a few electrical bugs, but those are easy for me to trace, as the Wiring diagrams are everywhere online, but there is no fuel flow chart or close ups for the fuel hoses. I recently purchased a manual from Scrappydogscooters who have parts for this particular bike, however, nothing against the site, the manual is really no help. I am hoping that someone has this particular bike and can direct me how to reattach the lines. Pictures are a plus! Thanks in advance! |

I was working on that, though I think what is throwing me off is the vent tube on top of the tank itself
Not sure if that has a separate hose that hangs down, or is actually connected to the fuel system |

From the Vento parts site above (air cleaner), we knew some had charcoal canister...
Make it to the simplest setting (like 8/90s Vigaro...) if ur state won't bothers ...

Welcome Wyveryx! HB is one of the most knowledgeable people on the site; I'm glad he chimed in so quickly.

Don't worry about the vent tube on the gas tank. the end of it winds up somewhere on the emission system. usually near the passenger/right side of bike near the bottom of the seat edge you will see a little container with a fitting on it. I believe it all ties into the charcoal emission system.
or just let it dangle somewhere but don't plug it.... or you will choke out and not get any ventilation into your system. |

Remember,
On the fuel pump there are 3 ports. - A fuel in - A fuel out - A vacuum port for the diaphragm If you look on the back of the pump closely you will usually see stamped arrows showing the fuel flow intended direction. |

This diagram uses the EXACTO carburetor.
Pep cock and fuel tanks may vary. |

Just wanted to thank everyone who posted. Sorry I hadn't responded as of late. Been busy with work, but the bike is up and running. Got the fuel lines figured out, thanks to that awesome diagram.
Now I'm just working on piecing the outer bits together. Pity the manual doesn't show anything on the air filter system rofl |

H E L P. . . .Vento fuel issue
I see it's been a while but I was just wondering if you ever got your fuel system routed properly? And if you could shoot me a pic! Mine doesn't have a fuel pump. .(idk) gravity fed I'm assuming?!? But having a trouble getting her running! Turns over but doesn't won't to catch. . .
