i love my Hawk 250!
I am reflecting on how much a single cylinder 229cc bike can change a persons life. It sure changed mine. I was able to run the errands I need to today without begging a ride or having to take public transportation, which leaves a lot to be desired around here. Several of the people in my building are interested in these bikes, I told them about powersportsmax.com and how to find them on Amazon. The fun is cheap with these bikes and my Hawk makes me smile every day. I ordered a carb and some jets and a windshield and a smaller rear sprocket (running 17/50) right now and I've had the bike to 61 measured by GPS. My speedometer is useless past 35mph. I love my Hawk. I wish I knew who the first owner was, I'd sent them a coupon for a free beer on me. Yeah maybe I did puff and have some natty daddy. That is what makes us human. But you know what? I park when its time to spark!

I still have my 2016 Hawk and still enjoy riding it. Most fun I've had with any bike. The Cheap $1099 hawk has gotten me back into riding after being away from riding due to a back injury for years. I figured for the price the worst that could happen is I would have to sell it for a small loss. Now I have and hand a collection of China bikes.

Thing is, simple things in life can make a big difference. Look up dead internet theory and you will understand also what is going on.

Big Day for a little Hawk 250
Today I take the leap. My son-in-law and his abundant supply of tools is going to help me change the rear sprocket, install the x-ring chain, install the somewhat questionable carb I bought and change the oil again. Thank goodness for younger stronger folks. (with air tools)

I have a Magician and have had fun working on it. New Mitubishi carb worked wonders. New clutch springs improved shifting. New shift lever works great. Directly attached to the shaft. I juinked the old 3 piece set up. Switch to synthetic oil made shiting easier. It needed a new voltage regulator as it stopped charging. The battery is OK now. I just enjoy working on it as well as riding. This is an around town bike, not a highway cruiser. I have seen quitre a few smaller bikes in my neighborhood (Dixie Hwy Clarkston MI)
