ROKETARD....Totally awesome!!!!
Guys,
Went out and really put this to the test. I used the clover leaf where interstate 20 and 26 intersect to test out a few things. First off the street tires on this bike make it ride and handle incredible. If any of you are considering making a china motard it's as easy as pie. No rim replacement, just a 120/90-18 rear and 3.00-21 front from JC Whitney. I got the Cheng Shin Barracuda tread about $100 for the pair. I can't recall ever feeling this confident in a turn on a motorcycle that far leaned over. The stock tires do fine, but wear out too fast. I got about 3200 miles out of the rear before I went ahead and put these new tires on. VFRflyer was with me and we did a bit of testing also in a school parking lot. Good thing was this lot had hills and such which added to the supermoto feel of racing. We tore it up in the lot for about 20min. and I was really giving the tires a good scuffing on the edges. Only touched the corner of my boot once or twice, but this thing will hang and stick a turn like glue now. Man this is one "mod" that will have you smiling from ear to ear if you do most of your riding on the street. Did some easy trail riding with no problems until the mud. Mud is the only real problem I can forsee with these. I guess I'll just avoid the mud and everything will be fine... The other added plus is an additional 3-4mph on top end because of the slightly larger diameter rear tire. Dad can't wait to wear his out so he can put his on cause I can really walk away from him on the top end now. Before we were pretty much even. STOKED 8)

If you look around, I posted pictures of my 120 rear tire. It's a Dunlop 80% road/20% dirt. I love it on the street.

So how much larger front tire can you fit on it??? Is a 3.00 all that will fit?
