As far as I can tell 40mph is top speed(kinda buzzy)...30mph is cruising speed. If a guy stays out of mudholes...an adult could trailride this bike because it is only 3 inches smaller in stature than regular quad...And has about the same clearance as my Warrior.
The boy had a great time practicing "sh!t hooks" granted snow and ice is easier to get spinning on than dirt. I do think though it will rotate pretty good with a little kid on it regardless of traction. He likes the quad a lot better than the 3 wheeler...I never did like atc as well as atv just for the fact they tip easier going down hill or cornering...He likes atv because it has suspension and he doesn't have to shift. I will get a vid of my girls 125 mx on here when the weather turns. As for reliability ...only the battery has failed...Mind you the bike has only had 2 tanks of fuel since new...Kickstart is kinda awkward, but works good. And I like the fact it looks like a mini Yamaha Grizz. My buddy just bought a Midwest 150 sporty quad for his niece after checking out my sons bike. The midwest is an Identical engine in a mini Raptor frame...He paid twice as much as I did ,from a B&M store, but the frame looks better made, the reverse is behind the trans instead of in the rear end... and the midwest has foot brake for rear while mine is handlebar levers front and back. However he has no kick start backup, or adjustable camber /caster A -arms. Thanks for replies. I'll keep posting as action happens! China "snow" Riders in Sask.
