How much paid?
Just wondering what everyone has paid for their china bikes, I've seen so much price difference between different web sites for the same bikes, some w/ shipping, some w/o... I think some dealers are trying to take advantage of first time riders, I could be wrong? Here's my lowdown:
06 Lifan GY200-5:$860, Shipping:$345 to my door=$1205 Brand new helmet:$60 Brand new gloves:$20 Brand new goggles:$20 Used boots, worn twice:$60 TOTAL$ 1425 All bought off E-bay, got everything but the bike so far but did get my bill of lading today and should be here Tues. At that price I could have bought 3 of these w/gear for the same as a jap bike, Hmmm... |

That's Kick ass, with these bikes and a little know how, family riding can be possible.. Looking for a decent Quad for my girls, I think protection for them may cost as much as the bike though(twins) little one is still too small to ride .. I saw a post with CAMO tires today, I think Frostbite posted that, they come in pink, god help us all....

E-bay is not a bad place to find some good stuff, my $60 helmet is just as good if not better than my old HJC, look into some of the "bargain bin" stuff, not just on E-bay but on most on-line retailers and you can find some pretty good stuff, seems like alot of the younger thrashers care about style and not performance...Thought I'd pass it along...

2006 Roketa DB07A (RSX200E) on eBay shipped to my door was $1050. I already had all the gear. For about a grand you can get a 200cc Dual Sport if you shop around and do your homework.

Since Dad and I bought ours together, it was about $980 ea. shipped to my home. That included the 3% charge for using a credit card.
Dad got his trunk off of ebay for about $55. I had one from a previous bike.

ambassador - You are right. The prices on the China bikes definately
made it possible for me to get my kids involved. $2270.00 for three brand new bikes to my door. Can't beat that. Quote:
prices have gone up a tad since last winter. http://stores.ebay.com/Global-Marketplace-LLC If you search ebay for chest protector you will have many choices. I got the jackets off of Adv. Rider from two different individuals. $50 a piece shipped to the house. Here's a pic. My daughters (red one) still has the tags on it. Winter is a good time of year for the deals. Good luck to you.

thanks ImEazy, that will be a big help to me, don't want her getting muffler burns and banged up like we all did as kids, I guess boys don't mind a little scar here and there, but to a teen girl a little scar could be very hard on the self esteem.
