It's probably legit but the concern is justified. Ask to see a copy of the bill-of-sale or receipt.

How many posts have we seen where people have bought bikes out of the create and had difficulty getting them titled due to missing MSO's, paperwork, etc... In the case of an ATV that never hits the street a lot of people wouldn't bother with the hassle and just ride it as-is. I lost the key to my 300ex once and did some hasty 're-wiring' to get it running.

I have a line on a 1977 KZ 400 in great condition but runs poorly due to intake leak from cracked manifolds. If I can get it for $400 that might be my next project. Same bike as my first one.
