Water in oil (air cooled)

I might get scolded for putting this here,but I have a problem with my Honda 4 Trax. It is a 91 and I bought it new. As you would expect it is great.

The problem is that when I use it in the winter and probably in the snow it gets water in the oil. I usually drive it to warm it up but not real hot. I have to think it is not condensation, but I don't know. The problem that really shows up is that water in the starter and causes rust and it wont work. This has been going on for 15 years. The oil when I drain it has a milky tint to it.

Condensation. Also check the vent and change the oil more often.

I see this in small cars that only go short distances in the winter.

Yup. Condensation from not using it long enough at a time. You need to ride more! Oil is cheap and ATV's don't use much change it more. If the oil cap is tight and no excessive moisture is getting into the airbox or through the crancase ventilation system condensation is the only possible water source.

I will be looking for a place for snow to get sucked in, but at this point I will assume it is condensation.
